We bought the house with this unit in the island and I never trusted it. Upper zone claimed fifty-five; my bottle thermometer said sixty-two. The sensor had drifted. Replaced, calibrated, and they agree.
The glass door sweated on the inside every warm afternoon and I was worried about the labels. A seal gone hard along the bottom, plus a zone set colder than the room could support. New seal, sane setting.
Interior light stayed on after the door shut and the compartment crept warmer all week. It was the door switch, not the control board somebody else had quoted for. Gone within the hour, base vent vacuumed.
