Cubes came out hollow — shells that collapsed in the glass. It came down to fill volume: a filter nobody had changed and a shut-off only part way open. Right again, though booking took chasing.
Our second unit in the garage up here had quietly stopped making anything at all. The harness into the module had corroded where an earlier repair left it exposed. He replaced the harness, not the assembly.
Two other companies wanted to replace the whole ice maker. This one changed the inlet valve, showed us the fill volume before and after, and it has produced proper cubes every day since.
